The MPTE-5 is a 1500 Watt Peak Power Mosorb Zener Transient Voltage Suppressor. Mosorb device is designed to protect voltage sensitive components from high voltage, high–energy transients. THe MPTE-5 has excellent clamping capability, high surge capability, low zener impedance and fast response time.
