The TLP180 is a small outline coupler. It is suitable for surface mount assembly. The TLP180 consists of a photo transistor, optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode connected inverse parallel, and can operate directly by AC input current. The applications of the tlp180gb inlucde programmable controllers, AC/DC-input module and telecommunication.
